The Nation Lakes offer an unforgettable 120 kilometer canoe ride through the four spectacular lakes Tsayta, Indata, Tchentlo and Chuchi. Connected by the Nation River, the four lakes surrounded by wilderness offer a memorable and peaceful canoe trip through the incredible and unspoiled wilderness of British Columbia, Canada. Along their canoe route you will find several rustic recreation campsites on all lakes, which you can use for your canoe trip to relax and spend the night. These campsites have a fire pit, a picnic table and an outdoor toilet. However, you are free to set up your camp at one of the beautiful sandy beaches along the lakes. The Nation Lakes Canoe Tour is the secret tip for an undisturbed canoe trip through the wilderness of Canada. You probably will not meet any other canoeists or even tourists.
The canoe trip through the Nation Lakes is suitable for both beginners and advanced alike. You do not need a guide for this canoe tour. The Rogers Paradise Lodge offers transport to the starting point at Tsayta Lake, from which you can independently paddle. We offer the canoue tour from the starting point Tsayta to Rogers Paradise Lodge. With a valid fishing license you can also go hunting for the big Canadian lake trout (Char / Namaycush) and rainbow trout during their canoe trip. The fishing license can be purchased on request at Rogers Paradise Lodge. The Nation Lakes are located approximately 260 km north west of Prince George or approximately 100 km north of Fort St. James. The Provincial Park of the same name was founded in 2004 as a result of the Fort St. James Land Resource Management Plan.
